cuore e menteThrough cutting edge brain research, we now know the quality of the parent child relationship enables parents to have a tremendous amount of control over how their child’s brain develops!

New brain research has given us a window into what really matters for children’s lifelong well-being. We now know that it is actually through the parent child relationship, most importantly those early experiences, that form a blueprint which alters the neural pathways in the brain. It is a history so powerful it generates profound effects on the infant’s present, as well as future world.

The basic sense of connectedness which the parent child relationship can create empowers a child to function in the face of life’s challenges. It is through this relationship dance that children learn self-confidence, regulation of emotions, empathy, social competence, academic success, and resilience. This relationship is the foundation for a well adjusted child who can reach his or her full potential.

We now know that if a parent pays attention to the internal world of their child, that this actually develops a more integrated brain resulting in more balanced emotions, more ability to connect to other people, and more capacity to meet their intellectual potential.
